Free shuttle bus is available from JR Ohtsu station and the Congress Venue (Ohtsu Prince Hotel). Time Table and bus stop information are available above. It takes around 10 minutes from Ohtsu Station to the venue by bus.
During the morning of the Congress date (Aug 4-8), free shuttle bus for Congress participants from Ohtsu Station to the Congress venue (Ohtsu Prince
Hotel) is also available.

The Congress will be held at the
Otsu Prince Hotel located at Lake Biwa, the largest lake in Japan and has
a long historical background. Otsu city is adjacent to
the old Japanese capital of Kyoto. You can enjoy sightseeing
of Kyoto region easily.
Access to Lake Biwa
From Kyoto: 11min. to JR Otsu station by local train.
From Kansai Int. Airport: 1h20min to JR Kyoto station
by a limited express train “Haruka”.
Then change to
a local train to Otsu.
At JR Otsu station, you can get shuttle bus for Otsu
Prince Hotel.
